LEICESTER CITY: AN INSPIRING TALE(part one)

Perseverance,belief, hard work and positive attitude; those are the traits of champions elect in the English premier league 2015/2016 season. Leicester City football club, a club whose stadium capacity is 32,312. Having been absent for 10 years, they gained promotion back on the 5th of April 2014, been champions of the championship. Their coach Nigel Pearson was hailed by all, including keeper Kasper Schemichel who was out of contract and was willing to sign a new contract.
They had sign the present PFA player Riyad Mahrez from a second tier side in France. Fast forward to 16th August 2014, their journey in the premier league started. Their biggest results were a 5-3 victory over man united, 3-0 win over Newcastle and 5-1 win over Qpr who were relegated. They held the record of having the longest run of games without a win (13 games). They ended the 2014/2015 season in 14th position having battled in relegation waters for months.
Their manager who won manager of the month award in April, he still got the boot at the end of the season. In came a certain Italian whose reputation was that of a man whose thoughts and actions are always changing, hence the nickname the TINKERMAN, CLAUDIO RANIERI............to be continued
